Joseph began his career in Civil Construction/Safety in 1999 as a Senior Development Inspector for Paulding County Community Development. Joseph worked at Aiken Grading Company in 2005 as a Field Superintendent and Erosion Control Superintendent. In 2012, he became Corporate Safety Director at Plateau Excavation. After the 2016 acquisition of DeWitt Excavation Joseph also became the Corporate Safety Director for DeWitt.

As Corporate Safety Director, he provides direction, oversight, and management of DeWitt’s Safety Programs including safety, health, and environmental specific programs. His duties include managing safety department staff, managing workers compensation claims, job site inspections, maintaining safety records, SDS manuals, and to establish and monitor site specific safety plans. He possesses over 15 years’ experience in the civil construction industry in managing both operations and safety. Mr. Dudley has worked on several large construction projects throughout the southeast and has developed various work place safety programs and operational safety procedures.

Joseph possesses the following OSHA certifications:

• OSHA 510, 500, 30 and 10 hour
• Excavation Standard Competent Person
• Competent person Confined Space trained
• Competent person silica trained
• DOT Work Site Erosion Control Supervisor trained
• First Aid/CPR/AED
